- Fundamental researches of academician Yu.H.Mammadaliyev on involving natural gas into petrochemical synthesis using alkylation process and technology of “fluidized bed” catalyst;
- Development of scientific foundations of technology for obtaining vinyl chloride by ethylene chlorination in “fluidized bed” of catalyst;
- Theoretical foundations of estimating efficiency of heterogeneous contact-catalytic processes and various technological systems using finely dispersed catalysts;
- Oxidative dehydrogenation of C4-C5 olefins to diene hydrocarbons in the reactors functioning with sectional feeding of oxygen;

- New heterogenized catalyst systems allowing the conducting of polymerization of diene hydrocarbons not only in mass and in solvent medium but also in the gas phase.
- Scientific fundamentals of obtaining the high-octane component to the gasoline from the gases of catalytic cracking.
